e-ducare aims to provide a better future to disadvantaged children by giving scholarships, educating them in our teaching facilities and by supporting a local orphanage. We also aim to support when needed their families, by providing food and other help they may require. To be successful we need to understand how the children are performing, what their attendance rate is, and we speak periodically with the families to track their welfare. Success is a long road especially with small children. We look at incremental improvements to see if we are on track towards success (that could be a job or further education). Each year we define success based on the number of children that advance to the following year (they have an exam to sit) and the number of new children that we manage to send to our teaching facility and to public school. In the last year we have improved our impact in Vietnam by structuring those KPIs reaching an 86% success rate supporting 81 students in public schools. This year we have increased the number of children supported in our teaching facility in Vietnam providing a formal examination to let them have a recognized level of education.
